Fred and Frieda Ruppenthal Morgret

Frieda attended Shenandoah College and taught first grade in Morgan County WV for several years. She was very active in church work at Francis Asbury Methodist, a volunteer 'pink lady' at War Memorial Hospital, a member of the Senior Woman's club and worked untiringly for the Red Cross Blood Mobile.

February 22, 1907 - February 2, 1975

Fred was associated in business with his uncle and cousin at Hunter's Hardware for 45 years. He served as Sunday School Superintendent at Francis Asbury Methodist for many years as well as a member of the board. He was a member of DeFord Lodge No. 84 AF and AM and director of People's National Bank, Hancock MD. He belonged to 'Always on the Go', the Young Men's Business Club. Around 1928, he opened the Red Robin Tea Room in Berkeley Springs.
