Henry Sr. was a well known
farmer and orchardist in Morgan County, West Virginia. He was a
pioneer in commercial fruit growing. He maintained the
largest apple and peach orchards in the area. He also grew
pears and plums. he was a member of the West Virginia
House of Delegates from 1908 and served as Sheriff of Morgan
County beginning in 1912.
