Genevieve Riggs Williams
December 10, 2004 - To bring you up to date: I finally went back to college in 1983 and completed my BS in Business Administration and then went on to get a Masters in Community Counseling. I then worked for about 12 years running a trial advocacy program at the University of Miami Law School. In 1995 we decided it was time to leave Miami and moved to the Atlanta, Georgia area. I then worked at Emory University until 2003 when I retired. Since then I have begun to realize my lifelong dream of being a writer. I have had some success with one story winning a place in an anthology of "emerging" writers of Georgia. |

Several articles
have been published in the Atlanta Journal
Constitution, Inside Gwinnett and Aquarius. Another piece
will appear in Timeless Treasures, the latest in a series called Rocking
Chair Reader. I'm having a wonderful time and truly enjoy
retirement.
The above picture is a recent picture which accompanied one of my articles. The picture was taken in my kitchen. I am excited about the upcoming 50th reunion and look forward to seeing everyone. |
