Charles Alvin Carlisle
Charles A. 'Pete' Carlisle, 57, of Whitehall Township, died Tuesday, April 5, 1993, in Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, MD. He was the husband of Johanna (Janowski) Carlisle. They were married 32 years last June.

He was last employed in the construction department of the Suburban Cable Co., Pottstown, Montgomery County, for three years. Before that, he was a warehouse supervisor for the former Western Union, Allentown, for 30 years.

Born in Hancock, MD, he was a son of Anna G. (Souders) Carlisle of Berkeley Springs, and the late Charles Carlisle.

He was a member of St. John's Fullerton United Church of Christ, where he formerly served on the consistory.

Survivors include his wife and mother; sons, Wayne C. Carlisle of Palmerton and Scott A. Carlisle of Whitehall; sisters, Doris Trail of Little Orleans, MD, Edna Hendershot and Mary Golden, both of Hancock, MD; and brothers, Roger, Donald and George Carlisle, all of Berkeley Springs.

Services were at 11:00 a.m. Firday, April 28, at R.P. Haas Funeral Home, 444 Pershing Boulevard, Fullerton.
