Lilburn Kent McBee, 66, died Sunday, June 12, 2005.
He was born in Great Cacapon, WV and moved to
Middleburg, Fla. in 1996.
He was employed by
Logistic Services International as a Senior
Instructional Systems Designer.
He served in the United States Air Force for 14 years,
where he was a Captain during the Vietnam era with SAC.
He was an instructional designer with Civil Service
assigned to the US Department of the Navy.
He was
a member of the Sports Car Club of America since 1960
and a writer for their national publication and a
starter at regional and national races.
He is survived by his wife, Louana M. McBee; four
daughters, Pamela Ross, Dana Cole, Lora Glidewell and
Bethany Piaz; one brother, Dwan McBee of Berkeley
Springs; and three grandchildren.
A memorial
service was held Wednesday, June 15 at the Chapel of
Hardage-Giddens Rivermead Funeral Home with Pastor Steve
Kearney officiating.
