Pauline A. Mills, 70, of Warfordsburg, Pa, died Wednesday, July 4, 2007, at the Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va.
Born October 29, 1936, in Berkeley Springs, she was the daughter of the late A. Raymond and Madeline O. Kesecker Ambrose and the widow of Roy A. Mills who died February 8, 2005.
She was a 1955 graduate of Berkeley Springs High School.
She was a homemaker before being employed with Valley View Nursing Home in the dietary department.
She was recently employed with the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Berkeley Springs.
She was of the Protestant faith.
She is survived by three daughters, J. Belinda LeDane, Laurel, Del., Beatrice L. Swope, Berkeley Springs and Rebecca A. Hess, Warfordsburg; three sons, Raymond W. Tyler, Berkeley Springs, R. Wesley Tyler and Roy A. Mills, Jr., both of Warfordsburg; two sisters, Fern M. Roach, Luray, Va., and Celia A. Courtney, Richmond, Va.; two brothers, John R. Ambrose, Woodford, Va. and Charles A. Ambrose, Berkeley Springs; 13 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, a number of nieces, nephews and a friend, Donald Miller of Berkeley Springs.
A service was held Saturday, July 7, at the Warfordsburg Presbyterian Church. Rev. John Barlow officiated. Burial was in the Cedar Grove Christian Cemetery, Warfordsburg.
Arrangements were handled by Grove Funeral Home, Hancock.
