Philip Beeler Eppinger, age
76, of Winchester, VA, died Monday, May 19, 2014, at his
home. Mr. Eppinger was born in 1937, in Berkeley
Springs, WV, the son of the late William and Gladdie
Eppinger. He worked in retail sales in the produce
department at Wal-Mart. He was a member of Winchester
Eagles Lodge and the Ruritan Club. He loved to play
golf. Mr. Eppinger was a veteran, having served with the
U. S. Air Force.
Surviving is his daughter, Holly McMurtry and husband,
Eric, of Winchester, VA, granddaughter Lindsay McMurtry,
companion, Julia (Judy) Pearson, sisters Ruth Miller,
Julia McBee, Evelyn Stotler, and Helen Younker, all of
Berkeley Springs, WV, and brother, Herbert Eppinger of
Berkeley Springs, WV. He was preceded in death by
sisters, Mary Joyce Eppinger, Geraldine R. “Becky”
Ruppenthal and brothers, William Eppinger and Richard
Eppinger.

services for Mr. Eppinger will be private.
