William R. Talbott, 55, a member of the
Berkeley Springs High School faculty for a number of
years, died Wednesday, February 5, 1969, at his home in
Dover, Delaware, of an apparent heart attack.
He was
born in Elkins, January 24, 1914, and taught school for
more than 20 years, beginning at Davis.
Mr. Talbott
received his A.B degree from Davis and Elkins College in
Elkins and his M.A. degree from the Colorado State
College.
He had taught social studies at the local
high school and his wife, Dorothy A. Talbott, had taught
English. Both had been teaching in the Dover area.
Mr. Talbott was a veteran of World War II and was a member
of the Masonic Lodge.
Surving with his wife are
brothers and sisters.
Services were conducted
Friday in Dover, with burial in Frederica, Delaware.
